When I started with affiliate marketing, I was trying to sell $100 products to earn $40. It seems obvious to me now that this is going to be a difficult business model. I would need to have sold thousands of products in order to make a good living. Also, I haven’t been able to use paid policies the same way I do now.
When you have a range of affiliated products of high tickets in a digital sales funnel, you can afford to spend a lot more on advertising, knowing that you will get it back in the long run. It was something I didn’t understand at first. Even the idea of subscription products alone has changed the game for me.
Every subscription you sell gives you a monthly income. Over time, and assuming you build a fairly strong customer base, you are earning higher and higher amounts on a monthly basis.
Even if you make a loss initially, (on your marketing), subscription products will eventually be paid for if you get a pretty good retention rate. If you then add high-priced products, rising sales and multi-level sales – (other people’s sales commissions), you’re going to do well.
One of the main problems for me was not the business model at all. I had seen people doing well and quitting their jobs with high ticket affiliate programs. It’s the same for many, I think. One thing is to believe in a high ticket program and then the other is to believe that it can work for you. Without this belief, you’re going to waver. If you don’t believe in something, or if you have problems with it, you will prevent yourself from doing it in a certain way.
The other question is much more obvious. Lack of cash flow means that high ticket affiliate programs can be prohibitive for some. You must first buy a sales funnel and a program that offers high ticket items and subscriptions. It’s not cheap. Plus, the more high-priced items you want in your “online store” the more you’ll have to pay.
Then you have to pay for the marketing of your sales funnel. Just because you bought a high-priced digital funnel doesn’t mean it will suddenly take action and start making money. Not! You will need a marketing engine driving targeted traffic into your sales funnel. It costs money too. Expect to pay while you learn too. You will need to start spending a monthly budget before you see a return.
And then a lot of your ads just won’t work. Am I a messenger of doom here? No, just realistic! Don’t waste your money if you don’t think you can continue learning and implementing marketing strategies to drive customers to your funnel. It also takes time to find out which marketing strategies are working, and which are not.
However, all said and done, once you have mastered marketing, you essentially have an income for life. With a high commission sales funnel, you’ll have given yourself the opportunity to earn pretty fantastic commissions, if you don’t give up first! It’s commissions like $5-$10K per sale depending on the system you use and how you position yourself.
The owners of these digital marketing systems are not giving them away for free! To make 40% commissions on a $35,000 product, you will need to purchase the product yourself. If you want high-priced items in your digital “store,” you really need to buy them. If words like scam and pyramid flood your mind right now, you might find yourself choosing already.
